I was responsible for providing data integrity analytics and producing reports by using Power BI, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Lavastorm, MS Excel, Python, SAS and Teradata to support the revenue assurance reviews.Responsibilities: • Deliver data analytics to support investigations and remediation of customers’ bill issues across a multitude of Telstra products and services. • Perform root cause analysis of Telstra systems misalignments.• Provide real-time analytics and insights for Telstra product sale revenue and services in operation from solution design, build, testing to deployment.• Implement enhanced current solution outputs and monitor data to ensure consistent engagement with stakeholders/business owners.Achievements:• Built a solution to identify charging discrepancies between Telstra ORDER, NETWORK and BILLING systems which have enabled our team to recover revenue leakages of over $2M in the 2017/2018 financial year.• Built analytics to identify services provisioned with correct attributes for Telstra’s broadband offerings. This ensured that customers received the products they were entitled to. It improved customer experience as the business is able to proactively manage any customers not correctly provisioned.• Developed hardware duplicate deliveries analytics to identify instances where customers were inadvertently sent a second modem. Put processes in place to prevent duplication from re-occurring. This resulted in 20% saving on unnecessary shipping and hardware revenue within 3 months of implementation. Set up an automated process to monitor this situation moving forward and detect any breaches of policy. -
Senior Data AnalystTelstra May 2013 - Oct 2016Sydney, Nsw, AuRole Summary: I produced regular reports and built new projects throughout the Global Finance Services division and Telstra Digital using SAS, Python, Lavastorm, SQL, Tableau and Excel.Responsibilities: • Create and execute Telstra Global Finance Services-wide strategic solutions to improve customer experience and cash flow. • Produce the figures tracking and forecasting Online Billing, Email Bill and Direct Debit. • Manipulating data and performing analysis for online billing, customer billing, Net Promoter Score (NPS), NBN, Retail, order tracking, Siebel Dashboard and debt portfolios to identify at-risk areas and validate current processes.• Manage operational processes to ensure the smooth running of debt collection systems.Achievements:• I was responsible for providing reports to the wider business. This assisted with high buyer confidence in Telstra data, which drove increased pricing. This translated to the business achieving 15% above the Debt Sale Revenue target for FY16.• Supported the Telstra offshore dialling teams by analysing and reviewing customer debts, providing them with a scheduled list of customers. This allowed consultants from out call centres to be more focused in their daily collections process. • Produced and implemented the Telstra Digital 'Amazon Fee' strategic campaign which looked at incentivising customers to use online billing functions. Since being implemented in FY16 this campaign reduced paper billing by 13%.• Created highly usable Billing dashboards in SAS, Excel and Tableau for data reporting using pivot tables and VLOOKUP. Extracted, interpreted and analysed data to identify key metrics and transform raw data into meaningful, actionable information. -
