As a doctoral student at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, I am conducting cutting-edge research on photoacoustic imaging, a novel technique that combines light and sound to visualize biological tissues. I have a strong background in optics, ultrasound, and general medical imaging, which I acquired through my MPhil degree at UCL and my research internship at the University of Alberta. I am also a passionate educator, teaching technical communication courses to engineering students at UCL as a postgraduate teaching assistant. With over 3 years of experience in academia and industry, I am driven by the mission of advancing biomedical engineering and improving healthcare outcomes. I am always eager to learn new skills, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to the field of optical and ultrasound imaging.
