As a current Business Analytics Master's student, I value theory and practice, and while acquiring new knowledge, I re-evaluate how to apply these theories to practice, especially in analytics. I obtained bachelor's degrees in civil engineering and mathematics. As I learned civil engineering, I participated in the design of an outdoor education center and worked together with my team members to complete a design report with a $6M cost estimation. I used AutoCAD to do so. From the mathematics perspective, I led a project team and collaborated with the Lancaster County Assessor's Office in Nebraska to process and analyze 27,000 sets of data using R. I contributed to suggestions to local government for solid and informed decision-making regarding high-rise condo and single-family housing market. Currently, I am an M.S. candidate in Business Analytics at The George Washington University. Last semester, I led a group to build and connect dimensions tables and fact tables using AWS and SQL for the U.K. Road Accidents Data and reported findings and recommendations for future road safety improvement based on our visualized results. In the future, I look forward to constantly thinking about how to share new knowledge to bring maximum growth and potential for your company and the team I would be a part of.
