Fengwei-Jiang has been recognized for her responsible and diligent approach to her work. She is able to balance strategically thinking of the best approach to a problem while effectively managing the details and steps to reach the end goal. Fengwei puts others at ease and recognizes the value each person brings to the task. She is looking to leverage these natural talents, her analytical thinking ability and past work experience to start a career in finance after she completes her Master’s of Science in Finance program from the Katz Graduate School of Business. Prior to attending Katz, Fengwei worked in the Corporate Finance Department of the Industrial Bank in Beijing, China. She was in charge of analyzing loan enterprises' quarterly and annual reports; her analysis was used to draft a credit report, assuring the credit terms conformed to the loan amount. As an intern with China Market Securities, Fengwei successfully helped 3 state-owned companies and 2 private companies secure bank financing, each state-owned company received an average of over 10M RMB in funding while each private company received between 5M and 10M RMB. Outside of her professional interests, Fengwei also takes an active part in public affairs and an interest in global issues. She participated in the 2015 UN Youth Forum as part of the Chinese contingent. This program sought to gain the youth perspective on how to promote the UN’s reputation and influence. She, together with her 11 group members, developed the recommendation that the UN to work together with local governments about engage more people to fight terrorism. Later in 2017, she was admitted as one of the UN 4SDG Advocates in China, going on her way in living as a world citizen.Fengwei earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of International Business and Economics, in Beijing, China. She also completed an exchange program with the Norwegian Business School, in Oslo, Norway.
