Architect of the Synopsys eLearning platform, a large-scale JavaScript application that integrates with rich online security training course materials. Designed and implemented the portal API layer, identity and access management services, authentication services, catalog services, notification services, and reporting services, which are all powered by the Seneca.js microservice framework.

Designed and prototyped the next generation of security analysis for production tools for GitHub/Bitbucket developers. Applied experience developing large-scale JavaScript applications that integrate with various other programming languages, platforms, and frameworks, as well as JavaScript expertise in Node.js, Express, Hapi.js, AngularJS, Backbone, and React. For popular node.js frameworks such as Express.js and Hapi.js, dramatically lowered scanning time per repository to hundreds of milliseconds, compared to minutes or even hours using competitors' products.

formerly CodiscopeResponsible for the detailed software design and implementation of Static Analysis within the SAAS product suite. Worked closely with the Research Team to identify and translate security vulnerabilities in JavaScript frameworks. Helped research and reimagine a static analysis engine based on a pre-defined set of triggers that looked for specific language constructs in an abstract semantic representation of a Node.js application.

- Led a backend Python developer team, testing and architecting API integration with the Facebook platform for WordStream's new Social Advertising project from scratch to product launch. The scaled app was built to provide small business customers with RESTful services to retarget their customers and optimize their Facebook ad campaigns. By leveraging the product, one of the beta customers observed tangible conversions on her retail website increased by a factor of 23.- Used KnockoutJS and Bootstrap to implement the MVVM pattern on the client side to generate a responsive UI application for the Google Shopping Campaign product, which provides clients with solutions to connect with their consumers, promote their products online, and grow traffic from Google Search.

Scrum team leader- Architect of a global payment SAAS product with a scalable reverse proxy powered by Node.js. The product is capable of simultaneously spawning multiple headless WebKit scriptable child processes to access and manipulate web pages with DOM APIs, and uses Socket.io to bridge parent and child processes for control and instant information sharing.- Led the core development of the company's major products, loyalty plugins, to monetize and reward worldwide customers for everyday online activities. Daily work involved core development, deployment, and maintenance of Mozilla Firefox add-ons, Google Chrome extensions, and Apple Safari extensions.

Designed and built new loyalty applications and meta-packages on Mac OS X using Objective-C and shell scripting. Used Node.js to create RESTful web service APIs to handle massive asynchronous communications between Mac and UNIX servers. Achieved the goal of automating, customizing, and packaging client products on all platforms, which reduced quality risk and lowered time cost from 8 hours to 30 seconds.

- Development leader for many popular products, including CheckPoints online shopping mall and the Ebates Cash Back plugin for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.- Used Node.js and MongoDB to create highly scalable and high-performance web service feeder modules to support comprehensive fetching from third-party revenue APIs and to store the data in the cloud. Built a feeder driver application to manipulate the web service feeder with non-blocking asynchronous file I/O, both scheduled and on-demand, and used Mocha unit tests to prevent pitfalls.- Built a modularized and unit-tested JavaScript component for SERP injection to drive web traffic from daily search activities to affiliate merchants' sites, which increased the conversion rate by 10%.

- First author of a rapid publication of a ground-breaking concept involving the PHASOR representation for oscillation of hemoglobin concentrations in tissue, a novel approach to near-infrared functional imaging.- Employed MATLAB to apply DTW and SAX machine learning algorithms for classifying cerebral activity in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) applications. Boosted the average classification rate in folding average methods from 70% to 85%.- Steered the design and deployment of databases for storing the training set of human mental workloads. Achieved real-time assessment of incoming human mental activities via pattern recognition.

- As the first author of a publication, achieved specificity and sensitivity rates above 80% by using C++ and artificial neural networks (ANNs) to distinguish colorectal cancer cells from normal cells in Raman spectrum- Contributed to the research, design, and development of next-generation medical software applications. Generated and tested/debugged highly complex C++ scripts. Reported to senior leadership on project status and plans for resolving issues that were hindering progress. Formulated detailed technical documentation and project plans.
