In the Great Lakes Region I've studied ecological and human communities, building professional experience that dips into many aspects of plant science, food systems, and community-oriented work. I earned my bachelor's in Ecological Restoration at Northland College in 2022, continuing to work in the area post-graduation doing botanical research, restoration, and with Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. 🌱 Botany and ecology are the fields in which I've built professional expereince- plant identification, landscape ecology, and long-term ecological trends are the areas of study I intend to bring into graduate level research and my ecological science career. Sustainable agriculture, food systems, culinary arts, and herbalism are also major themes in my work. I've worked in organic food production and agroforestry, as well as community cafes and farm-to-table type food services.
