As a Junior SRE and part of an amazing team here at Indigo, I have entered an unfamiliar and quite exciting work field that I am loving more each day.- Continuous Integration and Deployment was practiced when adding new projects to the pipeline, fixing issues, or when modifying settings and requirements for existing projects: Bitbucket, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy are the CI/CD tools that are currently used.- PowerShell scripts were written for numerous automation tasks such as deployment messages to Stride from Octopus Deploy, creating resource groups with tags in Microsoft Azure, git automation, and many more.- Logging of applications through Sumo Logic, monitoring of infrastructure in New Relic, and code coverage through SonarQube were standard practices throughout the work field.- Managed custom step templates in Octopus Deploy and custom build configuration templates in TeamCity that were critical in maintaining projects' build and deployment in the CI/CD pipeline.- Utilized Microsoft Azure portal for managing web application and infrastructure in the cloud. - Microsoft Azure CLI has been practiced through PowerShell automation scripts to create resource groups with specified tags.- Troubleshot and provided assistance for the developers and quality assurance teams in order to ensure work is moving along. - Projects were deployed to production environments.- Users and user groups were managed through Active Directories (i.e. Azure Active Directories) and Domain Controllers.- Rancher was used to host stacks and services of containers throughout the company.- Docker experienced with running images and "toolchain" practices to maintain a standard environment image for developers to use and run programs.- Artifactory experienced with maintaining program packages in the CI/CD pipeline.

Eight months as a Co-op student at ComPeters Inc. have been a wonderful experience that introduced various new skills into my set:- Practiced VB.NET programming through debugging and fixing problems in software design, testing and implementing new features (such as drawing tools and user management user interface in the UtiLocate 2 product), and through designing and writing new programs to help in database recovery. - Java was practiced within Android Studio to improve the company's existing Android mobile application by adding new features and giving it a cleaner look. - JavaScript was learned and excessively utilized during the production of the all-new mobile application. - React Native was introduced to the company, alongside with Xcode, when designing and writing a JavaScript mobile application that is cross-platform compatible with Android and IOS devices. - Some experience was gained with running phone and tablet simulators to test development on the mobile application.- Project management skills were tested and polished when taking the responsibility of designing, writing, and testing the company's new mobile application with functionality and user-friendly traits as the main goals. - Architected the back-end schema and lambda functions for the new mobile application for AWS cloud server implementation as the final phase of the project. - Communication and listening skills were constantly improved when providing customers with support and assistance during technical issues, and when selling and installing company software products to existing and new clients. - SQL knowledge was introduced and practiced throughout the work term by writing several SQL queries to attain data for report generation, and by navigating the MySQL environment when searching for necessary data during report building and new software feature designs.

• Solely ran the Stockhomme men section has taught me management skills.• Constructed greater levels of organization and time management through store maintenance and daily budgeting. • Previous aptitudes in the communications and listening sector were trained to expert standards from selling suits to highly professional customers on an everyday base. • Solving unexpected situations and unforeseen problems with customers and the store itself opened new ways of multitasking, and improved problem-solving to attain a solution quickly and efficiently. • Leadership attributes and patience skills were practiced full time when working with a team of girls to push the store to greater success. • Training new co-operative and part time workers enhanced management and leadership traits. • Earning respect the correct way from everyone was also exercised to advance interactions and impressions with others.
