Feras Sammakia has more than 15 years of experience managing one of the most renowned companies in the garments industry in Egypt. With a strong background in both Engineering and Business Administration Feras Sammakia is currently co-managing Sammakia Bros. Co.; a company deeply rooted in the Egyptian textile industry since the early nineties. As part of the second managing generation, most of the Sammakia's efforts were focused on keeping the company agile and innovative by expanding the scope of operations to new product lines and new markets.The Sammakia brothers were able to reserve their company a remarkable spot on the Egyptian and Middle Eastern apparel manufacturing map. Over the years they expanded the company vertically to include in addition to manufacturing all kinds of circular knitted garments, a circular-knitting fabric manufacturing facility and a silk screen printing print-house. In addition to more than 2000 retailers and distributors selling the company's products, Feras believed that the company should expand through a network of its own branded stores which now turned into a massive network of more than 90 branded stores in Egypt, Iraq, and Palestine. The company expanded all across the MENA regions through its branded products as well as through a number of very reputable private labels. Now Feras's focus is on further expanding to wider markets with a strong emphasis on the European market.
