Developed long term strategies to maintain the longevity of the non-profit.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS• Led “Share of Truth” (Doğruluk Payı) project, Turkey’s first political fact-checking platform, which empowered Turkish citizens with factual information to hold Turkish politicians accountable. The project received two notable awards in Turkey, the ChangeMaker Award and Transparency International’s Best Civilian Initiative Award. Doğruluk Payı was represented as one of the founding board members of the International Fact-Checking Network, along with one of the first to accept the code of principles.• Spearheaded the creation of the project “Data Source” (Veri Kaynağı), a website that makes open-source statistical data about Turkey easily accessible and understandable to the public. Composed of data from 1994 to the present on education, economy, communications, natural resources, energy, and health.• Proposed and led project Why Am I in Turkey? (WAIT), and interviewed 120 Syrians living in Turkey to combat misinformation and negative outlook toward Syrians by sharing real-life stories.• Secured grants from organizations including the National Endowment for Democracy, Open Society Foundation, the Centre for International Private Enterprise, the European Climate Foundation, and the US Consulate in Istanbul.

Doğruluk Payı: Is Turkey's First and only Fact-checking web project that objectively ‘fact-checks’ statements of politicians from Turkey, election promises of political parties, party programs and their statements regarding country’s agenda and presents how true they are to Turkey with analysis from its editorial staff.

RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for existing student and staff exchange programs as well as dual degree and language programs abroad. Developed strategies with multiple internal stakeholders to increase participation in the University's study abroad program. Maintained current agreements and negotiation of new international agreements with external stakeholders dealing with education ventures.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS• Designed and developed a transformative app that brought the application process from manual to automated software to ensure a more accessible and efficient platform. Worked closely with software and web developers to be able to establish a working app.• Led the remapping and redesigning of the International Center’s Website by making it more user-friendly. Key improvements were developing a search engine for the Partner Universities and incorporating the new application process into the website.• Introduced Degree Completion Protocols and Continued Education Certificate Programs.• Increased student participation in bilateral agreements by 150%.• Led and delivered client engagements that enhanced Internationalization of higher education

As an education consultant, taught students about the Language Center Facilities and programs to optimize students’ academic potential.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS• Developed the marketing materials and strategies for the Turkish Language for Foreigners Program.• Developed national and international projects, leading the center to become one of the top Turkish language centers in the country.• Transformed and developed a Web-Based Portal with the University's IT team, that allowed administrators from enrolling to tracking student progress.

Assisted journalists Alexander Christie-Miller and Justin Vela, researching historical background to current events to lend perspective to articles, as well as conducting interviews with Turkish parliamentary members while translating from Turkish to English.

Worked in the Former Office of Congressman from New York Michael E. McMahon, following daily international politics to assist in the creation of a formal stance on particular issues and events for the congressman. Responsibilities include researching current and past laws relevant to the political issue at hand and assisting the Foreign Legislative Director in formulating foreign policies for the congressman.

Taught 10th and 11th Grade Global History 3 and 4 in a multicultural classroom, organizing course curriculum based on Differentiated Instruction and Critical Pedagogy and lesson plans integrating multiple teaching styles to cater to a wider range of students.
