I matriculated at Hoogenhout High School in Bethal in 1992, whereafter I spent one year in the South African National Defence Force, Mechanized Infantry. In January 1994 I started my working career at OTK, now AFGRI, as a grain grader and assistant manager at Eloff. I was promoted to senior Silo Manager at OTK in 1996 and worked in this capacity until 2001. It was at this time when I joined Silo Inventory Management Systems, "SIMS", as sales manager to promote analytical instruments for grain the handling and processing industries. This included OEM training in the operation, calibration, sales and marketing of instruments and systems.In 2002 I was part of a group of individuals who started Ronin Grain Management Solutions. My role as sales and marketing manager included building a sales team and a corporate identity and marketing platform for Ronin. Ronin launched the ART Inventory Management System in 2002 which started our International distribution of the system. As part of building an international distribution channel for ART, I also managed our OEM system and solutions supplier relationships and localised distribution sales and marketing activities. As part of the local industry involvement, I became a member of the Grain Handling Organisation of South Africa and the Cereal Science and Technology South Africa. I've been a board member of GOSA for the past six years.Since 2008 I took part in sales and marketing activities which led us to Argentina, Brazil, USA, Denmark, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Denmark, Turkey and Egypt to name a few. I had the great opportunity to negotiate the sale of the Inventory Management System installed as part of Cimbria's 23 Silo facility project in Egypt. At the same time, I assisted in the newly registered Ronin Inventory Management System which operate out of Richards bay to take the ART system into the mining and industrial markets. I held a director position in Ronin IMS for 6 years to assist in marketing, sales, OEM relationships and technology portfolio.In 2017 Ronin Precision Farming Solutions was incorporated into the Ronin Group where I facilitated our OEM relationship with Hexagon Agriculture and launched the complete portfolio into the South African market.It was at this stage when I started to manage Ronin Group Sales and Marketing portfolio for local and international and started a complete solutions portfolio rebranding which includes websites and social media pages.
