Three years onboard TAMAR, I have established a safety culture wherein everyone including visitors can say the Lead EHSR is always open to provide advice in regards to safety while they are on the Tamar Platform. To mention a few, I introduced a more robust PTW-Control of Work System that enabled everyone to identify the location and critical work that helped them to plan their work. Work Observation Program with LMRA that ensures everyone, including contractors, sub-contractors, and visitors is involved in the system and able to track, and review any update regarding their observation report. A detailed daily reporting system that enables anyone to get vital information at a glance at the report.Engaged employees create interaction and leave the situation with insight that challenges their belief about what is right or expected. This helps to stop complacency at work, and employees become very aware of hazards around them.Received a Note Worthy from DNV auditors in the facility orientation and walk-through.

Interacted with main contractors during the review of their project HSE deliverables, HSEMS, HSE Plan, ERP, PTW System, etc. Conducted HSEQ audit of proposed contractors and their fabrication yards and shops to determine capability and compliance to the company standard and meets the PMT's expectations.Review safety engineering design, emergency layout, fire and gas systems, etc.

The first thing I did in NEEG is to align all employees on safety-related practices and facilitated the EHS risk management by the involvement of line management including all employees within the company's controlled site. This campaign created an awareness culture and a safer workplace.Faced with difficulties in obtaining EHS training, an effort to reach out with the other oil companies in the region to either use their trainers and medical facilities.Rolled out and implemented Behavioral Base Safety Management (BBSM) throughout the regions which help reduced work-related incidents by more than 80%.Promoted Buddy-Buddy System and Family atmosphere to all controlled site.
