Ferdinando Pisani is committed to redefining the medical paradigm. He considers it the greatest obstacle to human progress because it is mainly based on managing symptoms that keep people entrapped in perennial pharmaceutical dependency. This drive to seek medical justice brought him to initially work with Barefoot Doctors in Paris (medecinsauxpiedsnus.fr). It was followed by the creation of Green Medicine International, an NGO dedicated to doing humanitarian work using natural medicine. Ferdinando later moved to Peru to study with Amazonian and Andean healers, keepers of ancient ancestral knowledge. This led him to his roles as Program Manager and International Field Coordinator for the Foundation for Alternative and Integrative Medicine (faim.org), where he was devoted to seeking out and validating innovative and non-toxic medical cures from around the world. With Thomas Aksnes, he has built a bond around the shared endeavour of helping people by bringing innovation in health and healing through Health Optimizing clinics worldwide.
