Technical Duties:• Repair, inspection and maintenance of electrical/mechanical/telecommunication equipment and ensuring their protection and safety. • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, project schedules, and estimates for construction and maintenance. • Conducting performance test, inspecting and testing of electrical/ mechanical/ telecommunication equipment, resolving any fault.• Identify and propose improvements to existing electrical/mechanical/telecommunication equipment. Write periodic reports detailing current systems and changes to each system.• Analyse failure trends and patterns for systems / components in order to define problem areas to be incorporated into reliability improvement programs.• Maintenance and control of technical store along with demand, issue and procurement of spares. • Developing, testing and commissioning of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems along with troubleshooting, debugging and routine maintenance experience. • Proven experience in logic and programming with Siemens/ Mitsubishi/ Allen Bradley/ Omron PLC automation and drives. Administrative & Procurement Duties:• Leading and supervising the electrical/telecommunication section in maintenance related jobs. • Review of admin, logistic and technical policy towards achieving mission laid by the higher authority. • Provide assistance in the organization of meetings (preparation of agendas, minutes, follow-up, monitoring of deadlines). • Developing vendor pre-qualifying criteria, identifying product sources and evaluating vendor performance as regards quality, prices, delivery, etc. • Evaluating bids/proposals/quotations to ensure overall competitiveness, quality, and conformity to specified requirements.
