Karim Associates and the Civil Aviaiton Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) undertook a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project in order to procure a Radar. Total project cost including civil construction and cost of implementation was Euro 36 million. The proposed modality of the project was Build Own Operate and Transfer (BOOT). Karim Associates was going to build and operate the Radar for CAAB for 10 years in return for a fixed rental fee from CAAB. After the period of 10 years and all assets would be transferred back to CAAB. As an Independent Financial Consultant appoined by Karim Associates, I prepared project budget, cash flow forecast and presentations & information memorandum for potential investors.

I was tasked with evaluation of project proposals, preparing presentation for prospective investors, financial valuation and forecast using DCF and DDM valuation models, and assist as part of the research team in preparation of feasibility studies and designing various capital market products.

Additionally, I had to conduct research to source new clients for Finance, Engineering, Healthcare and FMCG sectors and compile list of potential business opportunities for the senior consultants to pursue.
