As Lead Supply Chain Management I'm involved in the entire Supply Chain of Ampelmann. This includes production, maintenance, operational projects and regional warehouses. My team (10 Fte) ensures the stability of our Supply Chain by guaranteeing the stock levels will meet all our customers service levels. In a close collaboration with our Sourcing & Contracting department we aim for just-in-time inventory management. This includes coordinating suppliers, planning (MRP) & purchasers, in- and external clients and all our global based warehouses by creating optimized models, insights, planning initiatives and conducting ad-hoc analyses to drive right decision making. All with the focus on efficiency and being able to adapt to change while minimizing costs. Currently working on the move to a new warehouse in Rotterdam, centralizing purchase orders, three-way-matching, cashflow management, cycle counting, local sourcing in APAC and USA, staging for production, expanding and professionalizing our local and global warehouses and continuously drive structural improvements to optimise our processes.

In this role I was responsible for the complete Accounts Payable of various domestic and foreign entities. As part of Financial Control I managed the AP team and monitored our KPIs. This included our Source-to-Pay processes such as invoice processing, workflows, two & three-way matching, control, approval and payments, company-wide expense and vendor management, masterdata and monthly and annual closure activities such as subledger consolidation, intercompany invoicing and accruals for all expenses incurred. Described as the 'go-to guy' on Finance, point of contact for our foreign offices and business partner of our Supply Chain Management department. As a key and super user of our ERP I was heavily involved and/or in the lead of projects with regards to efficiency, setup and design.
