Ever since I have written my very first line of pascal code in high school, software development has been my passion. I'm still remembering sitting at my i386 Compaq PC writing my version of the famous snake game :)This passion carried me to through my university years studying computer science. During these years, I started to work as a full-stack web developer at my very first company. I have learned the open source stack, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and javascript.After finishing my studies, I have continued to work as a web developer. I had the opportunity to work on several SaaS projects as a developer and later as a software architect. I have a solid knowledge of OOP and all the best practices/design patterns and PSRs to have a performant and clean code that is easy to understand and extend.Through these projects, I worked in the Symfony framework and had the opportunity to gain a good knowledge of Laravel too.I had the mission to design the microservice architecture for one of our projects and decided to use PHP (API platform) and Nodejs services with GraphQL as the gateway.I'm glad that I also took part in the DevOps, and designed the whole infrastructure on Google Cloud's Kubernetes Engine using terraform for provisioning it. During the transition, from the on-premise servers to the cloud, I had to containerize the applications and build CI/CD, in Jenkins by writing custom Groovy scripts.So now, in the industry for 14 years, this passion remains with me. There's certainly yet more to learn and more problems to solve, and yet more to build.
