I am an experienced yet still enthusiastic and innovative Employment and Personal Injury practitioner, dealing with claims as he would a rugby tackle – with determination and commitment, I hope - while retaining a perspective of reality and good humour. With my extensive experience in disciplinary and employment work, I have been able to transfer this over to the sports law field, provided representation to players and clubs in - amongst others - rugby disciplinary hearings.My Personal Injury work has recently had particular emphasis on:• Accidents at work (including industrial disease, vibration and deafness cases)• Stress at work • Bullying and harassment (including cases involving the Armed Forces)• Negligence / vicarious liability cases against local authorities, involving allegations of historic sexual abuse of children in their careRegular instructions in cases of Civil Fraud, defending alleged fraudulent road traffic accident claims in particular.
