- Dedicated more than 1000 hours a year for 4 years building custom machined complex robots for a globally competitive robotics team competing in FRC (First Robotics Competition)- Sub team lead managing and directing the drive train team for 2 years- Human Operator of the 2017 robot which competed in the division finals at the World Championship in Houston Texas, responsible for controlling robot functions such as intaking, placing game pieces and shooting- Designed, manufactured, and assembled major components including robot arms, manipulators, and custom pneumatically actuated multi-speed gearboxes, utilising CNC routers, laser cutters and 3D printers- Ran workshops instructing students on machine tools such as lathes and CNC Routers- Mentored students to assist in designing components in CAD software, focusing on the engineering design process, and designing for manufacture within our capabilities- Gained extensive experience using hand tools to create accurate and precise parts
