My ambition at Quality Tractor Parts is to ensure the continued growth of the company and expansion of our footprint through the leverage of integrated IT systems.I will leverage digital marketing to penetrate new markets and automate backend processes to ensure our teams and systems can handle the added throughput.

My role at Quantum Software is to develop and implement a strategy for our suite of payroll software applications. With the ever increasing workload being placed on payroll software and payroll operators there is a need to expand functionality while simplifying processes. I am leading a team that will make this a reality.I have just completed a project with the team to move our main product offering to a more stable and extensible database platform. I am now leading the next phase of the project to add business intelligence to the application and improve its value to customers. Further down the line we will develop a completely new cloud based offering.

I am responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Yvolve Sports IT department, including budgeting, strategy, ERP, cloud services, BAU, business intelligence and reporting functions.Business intelligence is key to ensuring we can adapt to challenges in our industry and provide us with an advantage over our competitors.Integration of our IT systems with those of our customers, suppliers, and 3rd parties is a priority to help increase the efficiency of our supply chain. As commerce moves from the store towards online purchasing customers expect a quicker, more seamless response. As volumes increase it becomes necessary to automate the handling of orders.

Key Responsibilities:• Formulate and direct ICT strategy for our European operations and I am a key contributor to our global strategy.• Plan and implement budgeting for European technology acquisitions.• Manage key projects for the company: Commissioning of green-field sites, implementation of ERP system, CRM system. • Decision maker in the selection and implementation of information technology for Europe.• Alignment of business and IT strategy to ensure benefits to the business as a whole.• Management and control of all ICT resources in Ireland, UK, France, Germany and Poland.• Manage IT vendor relationships and outsourcing for our European operations.Achievements:• Commissioned IT infrastructure, hardware and software at green-field sites in Ireland, the UK and Poland.• Implemented our ERP system in Ireland, USA, the UK and Poland.• In conjunction with other business units, developed production and distribution processes throughout Europe to realise cost savings of €1m and production increases of 20%.• Configured our ERP system to reduce inventory on hand by 30%.

Analysis of user requirements and development of GUI front-end in the OpenRoad 4GL language. DBA for Ingres database. Developed batch processes for the weekend updates of the Ingres database from our mainframe systems.
