I serve as the programme lead for the Systems Justice & Innovation portfolio at the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of Cape Town's (UCT) Graduate School of Business (GSB) where my work includes convening collective impact processes for systems change, teaching and training for entrepreneurship incubators in emerging economies and designing innovation labs to catalyse solutions for socio-economic and climate justice issues. I have a passion for social impact projects that make a positive difference to peoples' lives and communities around in the Global South.I have 8 years experience as a social entrepreneur, festival coordinator and community organiser working at the intersection of local cultural economies and community-based innovation.I hold a Masters in Inclusive Innovation Studies from UCT's GSB, along with a Bachelor's specialising in Political Science & Urban Geographies of the Global South. My research and practice interests include the fields of social innovation, systems change, climate justice and systems entrepreneurship.My core skills include planning and strategy development; writing; project planning, Organisational Development and Change Management (across different mediums); Festivals and programme design; Project Coordination campaigns; writing for publication; events management and budget/risk control oversight - all in a variety of different contexts
