I have a background in environmental economics, organizational strategy and community and political campaigning. I am currently the Programs Director at the British Columbia Sustainable Energy Association where I oversee a climate change education program offered to students across BC. I am also accepting freelance and contract work, primarily for NGOs and civil society groups. Past projects include financial and economic analysis, policy research, and program and strategy development. Before moving to Canada, I worked as an economist and campaigner for the Australian Conservation Foundation - a national environment organization in Australia. During that time my focus was on climate change and environment policy, economic research and analysis, and corporate engagement. Before ACF, I worked as a strategist for one of Australia’s largest financial institutions. In 2018, I co-founded a community organization called Shift Australia, which supports people to become more active citizens by giving them the tools and confidence to meaningfully engage in democratic processes.My core skills are policy and strategy development, economic analysis and research, corporate engagement, and public advocacy and campaigning. Topics of expertise and interest include environmental economics, climate change risk mitigation and adaptation, domestic and international energy transitions and civic participation and community organizing.I hold a Bachelors of Law (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce (maj. Economics) from Bond University, Australia.
