His work area lies in a multidisciplinary area in civil and environmental engineering, including air pollution; local, regional and glocal transportation of air pollutants and their impacts on public health, cultural heritage, build environment and ecosystems; sustainable buildings; and environmental modeling research. He worked in different institutions and several research projects in the USA, UK, Turkey, Germany, Finland, and Kazakhstan. He has the expertise and motivation to continue working on pandemics' impacts on the sustainability of future buildings, urban air pollution, and Environmental Research areas. He has been granted involving air pollution, sustainable construction and infrastructure, and COVID-19 related projects and successfully published high-quality papers in top-notch journals. He has a broad background in atmospheric chemistry and physics, with specific training and expertise in airborne particulates (PM) and environmental data analysis on-air pollution aspects of public health. As different roles from instructor to professor at various internationally recognized institutions, and PI or co-Investigator on internationally funded grants, He has been assigned several leadership roles from department to institutional levels leading group-driven modules in administrative, teaching research.
