He worked on the software implementation of next-generation service platforms, such as Gateway Mobile Location Center, as well as innovative end-to-end value-added service solutions. He kept innovative ideas and prepared and executed proof of concepts (PoCs) for new ones. He created algorithms and statistical models for indoor and outdoor positioning, as well as spatial data processing. He collaborated with other groups, businesses, and universities to best meet the needs of product applications. He completed indoor positioning research using the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) of IEEE 802.11.xx (especially WiFi) and IEEE 802.15.1 (Bluetooth low energy) beacon families: o Algorithms for positioning in indoor and outdoor environments. o An innovative energy-based (stochastic optimization-based) positioning algorithm. o An algorithm that only uses RSSI signals to estimate the direction of arrival (DoA). He also conducted research on data enrichment and classification using data correlation between SS7 network traffic, mobile users' demographic data, customer relation management (CRM) experience, and mobile users' locations stored in Cloudera's Hadoop ecosystem.

He achieved research on the modeling, design, and performance analysis of wireless communication systems, with a current focus on cognitive radio systems, cooperative / collaborative communication systems, and multihop communications. He proposed approaches, algorithms, and performance analysis techniques that can be easily customized / optimized for wireless communications systems. He attended and actively participated in numerous seminars, conferences, and workshops.

He worked as a Visiting Researcher on the following research topics: He completed research on keyhole propagation and serial relaying communications using fixed gain relays. He worked on the outage capacity of multicarrier systems. He completed research on the physical layer of 60 GHz wireless short-range communications, specifically investigating the possibility of using low cost and complexity RF level diversity combining schemes to improve system performance. He obtained analytical expressions for the bit and symbol error rates in order to investigate the effect of equalization using phase quantization on the performance of 60 GHz wireless short-range communications. He worked on modeling fading conditions in cognitive radio communication and the effects of power adaptation on primary node performance.

He was offered the position of team coach, which entails developing and maintaining strategic relationships with other software development groups and companies. On the concept of prototype production and meeting tight deadlines, he managed the "welcome roaming messaging and steering" / "preferred roaming" projects in part. He determined installation and integration requirements, as well as debugging and troubleshooting, and carried out 3GPP test validations. He coordinated test activities in real-world GSM networks for the commissioning and acceptance of the released prototypes. In order to achieve integration with third-party products/solutions while adhering to current and future technology requirements, he collaborated with both external groups and partnerships to develop the best-integrated solution for these projects.

He worked on the development of the SS7 signaling gateway and the welcome roaming messaging (WRM) system, which will provide services not only to mobile users abroad, but also to mobile users visiting the country. He shared responsibility for the planning, design, development, and maintenance of a 3GPP-enabled WRM system. He was a team member who helped to clarify research and software development situations. He actively participated in full-lifecycle research and software implementation based on requirements. He developed and achieved software for 3GPP/ETSI standards (mobile application part v1/v2/v3, ASN1 compiler with ASN.1 notation). He worked on the software for the following 3GPP-enabled products: o SS7 signaling gateway (SGW). o Welcome roaming messaging (WRS). o Steering / preferred roaming (SR / PR). o Unstructured supplementary service data (USSD). o Mobile application part (MAP) specification for Gateway mobile location center (GMLC). o Short-message service (SMS).
