I focus on technology, ecommerce services, SaaS, and payments companies. With nearly two decades of experience in investing in and advising high growth software and tech enabled services companies, I've invested in and advised (M&A and private placements) on nearly 50 ecommerce and payment transactions across the US, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. I've worked closely with emerging and global technology and services companies on their growth and business strategies to maximize value and optimally position them with strategic partners.Global M&A, debt and equity capital raises and investment expertise: I worked with dozens clients as part of the Investment Banking Group at Credit Suisse in the Tech, Media, Telecom and Financial Institutions practices in both New York and London. Prior to Credit Suisse, I was an investment professional managing Fund of Funds investments at SVB Capital, and oversaw strategic fund and direct equity investments for Silicon Valley Bank where I also worked closely with SVB's technology and venture capital commercial banking groups.Originally from Mexico City, I later grew up in Southern California and now reside in San Francisco with my wife, and three daughters. I've leveraged my cultural heritage to better understand the cultural nuances required in advising clients entering the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latam. I enjoy international travel, playing tennis and sailing on the San Francisco bay and sharing these experiences with my daughters.
