Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer
Current• Evaluate and recommend appropriate construction materials, ensuring compliance with all project requirements and specifications. Continue to monitor and verify that the materials used in construction meet the specified standards and do not deviate from the approved submittals.• Develop engineering deliverables such as prequalification and work methodologies, including checklists, inspection and test plans as requirements to commence the works at site and to guarantee the implementation of correct procedures.• Overseeing and suggesting corrective and preventive measures to facilitate the resolution of site observation and non-conformance reports, ultimately leading to their closure.• Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations. Provide guidance to other team members on quality-related processes and procedures, fostering a culture of quality within the organization.• Supervise, monitor and inspect construction projects and testing of construction materials for conformance to drawings, specifications, standards or other applicable ordinances.• Develops, implements, and maintains assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.• Reviews prime contract and subcontract details for specifications and requirements, identifies quality requirements and ensures that quality activities align with project scope as per the terms and conditions.• Performs visual examination, witnesses, monitors, and documents results as per project specifications and Inspection testing plans (ITPs).• Collects and compiles quality turnover documentation.• Act as a liaison with quality manager to provide technical assistance and guidance as needed.• Identifies and discerns root causes associated with non-conformance reports (NCRs) and present to the quality and project team.
