• Responsible for conducting research on the coordination between the Financial Safety Net in bank resolution

• Responsible for developing intervention protocols, implementing models for the statistical valuation for a troubled financial institution, pre-establishing the stages to develop each protocol in the most efficient way and choosing the best resolution alternative for a troubled financial institution.

• Coordinated the design and implementation of an early warning system for Fogafin to monitor and assess risk of insured financial institutions. • Prepared a report on the efficiency and soundness of the Fogafin Deposit Insurance Scheme funding scheme based on a risk based premium system. • Collaborated on the implementation of the World Bank-First Initiative Crisis Simulation Exercise to evaluate the coordination and among the members of the financial safety net during a financial crisis.• Coordinated a report to evaluate the sufficiency of Fogafin Deposit Insurance Fund.

Responsible for calculating the Colombian exports and imports in current and constant prices, both quarterly and annually, preparing a report on the behavior of foreign trade in Colombia, preparing a report on the operations of foreign trade in Colombia, calculating the imports taxes and subventions of exports and imports by product, estimating the Duty Free zones exports and imports and establishing the possible estimation problems in the Benchmark and X11 methodologies used in the national account calculations.

Responsible for designing and implementing a quarterly supply-demand matrix from the first quarter of 1990 to the first quarter of 2001, developing an alternative method to estimate the variation of stocks of quarter series in each of the 60 sectors of the Colombian economy and developing an alternative method to estimate the added value in the quarter national account series.
