At United for a Fair Economy we support social movements fighting for a resilient, sustainable, and equitable economy. Our newly formed Inclusive Economy Network is working with local stakeholders to create innovative organizing and policy campaigns with the goal of lifting up working families and closing the racial wealth gap.

In my role as the Dignity in Schools Campaign Field Organizer I supported DSC members with trainings, tactics and strategies as member groups pushed for local and statewide campaigns to reform and preserve public education, improved school to discipline practices to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline. Examples of the campaigns we worked in during my time with the DSC are: The National Call for a Moratorium on Out of School Suspensions" and "The Counselors NOT Cops Campaign"

I organized parents on several campaigns, winning approval to build two new schools to address overcrowding, and bringing back the music and arts program.
