Since 2015, Dr. Trindade is an Associate Professor at the Department of Systems and Energy of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), ranked 2nd position in the QS World University Rankings - Latin America 2018. She holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from São Paulo State University (UNESP), in 2006, and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 2009 and 2013, respectively, all in Brazil. During the Ph.D., she had spent one year as a visiting student in Power Disturbance and Signaling (PDS) Research Lab, University of Alberta (UofA), Edmonton, Canada, under the supervision of Dr. Wilsun Xu (IEEE Fellow). From December 2015 to February 2016, she participated in a research internship at The University of Manchester, with Prof. Dr. Luis Ochoa, with whom she continues to collaborate.Dr. Trindade research interests include fault location in distribution systems; non-technical losses; application of renewable and alternative energy; power distribution systems of the future; and power system protection and automation.More info: https://sites.google.com/unicamp.br/fernanda
