For more than 13 years, I worked as TV journalist in a variety of roles: international correspondent in Lisbon and London; anchor, editor and reporter in Belo Horizonte and, mainly, Brasilia. In the Brazilian Capital, I covererd political and economic national issues. My duties were, basically, researching, finding and contacting sources, interviewing, reporting in the field, originating content in video, audio and internet, but also making fast editorial decisions and solving problems during the process. I have developed some technical abilities, such as video editing, photography and video shooting. Flexibility and emotional control to deal with tight deadlines are skills that have been helping me in my professional path, as well as a good relationship with the crew, supervisors and peers. My experience has given me an in-depth understanding of international issues, as well as an expertise in Brazilian cultural, political, social and economic affairs.
