About Fernanda Bianconi

I am passionate about creating and delivering engaging and accessible learning opportunities for diverse learners. As a faculty member at Georgian College, I prepare and deliver curriculum that meets the required learning outcomes and goals, and create and maintain a positive learning environment. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education, and I am a certified Learning Disability Specialist and Adaptive Technology Specialist. I am also a certified English as a Second/Foreign Language Instructor, Microsoft Innovative Educator and Apple Teacher. In addition to my teaching role, I also work as a Learning and Adaptive Technology Specialist at Georgian College, where I provide support and mentoring for students with learning & intellectual differences. I assess their individual needs and recommend specific accommodations & technologies that can enhance their learning and success in the classroom and workplace. I use a variety of learning strategies, teaching and learning principles, and adaptive technology tools to assist and promote student learning.
