She has been an invited to participate in international workshops like BrLab (Brazil) and IKUSMIRA BERRIAK (residency run by the San Sebastián Festival). She is the head of studies at EAVE- Puentes.At TIC TAC PRODUCCIONES, an independent production company based in Galicia, Spain that she founded in 2006, Fernanda developed and produced fiction and documentary features films like Polvo (Julio Hernández Cordón, 2012), WP in the official selection of the Toronto and Locarno festivals in 2012; Tralas luces (Sandra Sánchez, 2011), documentary, WP at San Sebastián in 2011; 18 Comidas (Jorge Coira, 2010), winner of over a dozen prizes; and ¿Qué culpa tiene el tomate? (Ómnibus, 2009), premiered at MoMA in New York. She coproduced Agua fría de mar (Paz Fábrega, 2010), Tata Cedrón (Fernando Pérez, 2011), and Design detrás das grades (Margarita Leitâo, 2012).At SETEMBRO CINE, Fernanda has participated in major international co-productions like Una mujer fantástica (Sebastián Lelio, 2017), winner of an Oscar for Best Foreign-Language Film, and Neruda (Pablo Larraín, 2016), nominated for a Golden Globe. Both award-winning films were distributed around the world. She recently coproduced La boda de Rosa (Iciar Bollain, 2020), which premiered to great acclaim at the Festival de Málaga and was shown at theaters in Spain for over seven months, Pequeña flor (Santiago Mitre, 2022) and Objetos (Jorge Dorado, 2022). SETEMBRO CINE has provided production services, specifically as executive producer for Warner Music on Torre de Breoghán, O Documental (Jorge Coira, 2014), a concert and documentary by Luar na Lubre and the Galicia Symphony; audiovisual production for the exhibition Gallaecia Pétrea (various authors) at the Museo de la Ciudade de Cultura in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia; and production services in Spain for Roads by Sebastián Schipper.SETEMBRO CINE is committed to producing and spearheading projects by independent filmmakers with a voice all their own.
