About Fernanda Pizato

Ah, the power of speech! This human particularity of communication has been my ally throughout my life. But it was only when linguistics and the beauty of teaching came along that I pieced it all together. It was during a volunteer experience in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where I saw someone's face light up as I taught them for the first time. In that moment I realized I had to take the path of education.For 3 months I helped young Vietnamese adults to learn and practice English. After being TEFL certified, I also taught kindergarten children in public schools in the city.I have 4 year's experience teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) and EFL (English as a Foreign Language), not only having taught in Language Centers in Vietnam but also in Brazil. Since 2021, I have been teaching online, 1-on-1 and small group classes, with my company Imersão no Inglês independently.And currently, I am a postgraduate student in English Language Teaching..I am a passionate teacher and focused on students' development of communication abilities, cultural background and self-esteem through language.
