Working with the Executive Director, I created a photo-book as an appreciation gift for one of DCM's major donors. I also provided a comprehensive analysis of the DCM website, along with best practices and recommendations for improving design, flow and usability of the site, as well as suggestions on providing more meaningful donor stewardship. I participated in the planning and implementation of the inaugural (2014) Next Gen "Back for the Future" fundraising event and continue to be involved with the Next Gen Board

I served my first year on the Executive Board as Secretary, then VP of Marketing. I spearheaded new initiatives and developed strategies that resulted in one of the Foundation's most successful fundraising efforts in support of science and technology in the classroom raising almost $20,000 over a two-month period. I also served as Kids Grants, Donor Appreciation and Special Events committee member.

- Working closely with Faculty, I was responsible for renewing donor commitment, identifying potential donors and donor stewardship. Through targeted solicitations, events and donor visits, as well as grant submissions, I raised almost $750,000 in the first 16 months. One of my most memorable moments was bringing in a 30-year clinical faculty's first six-figure donation.- Areas of responsibility included: Seizure Disorders and Epilepsy (including Lafora), Huntington's Disease and Friedreich's Ataxia, Duschenne Muscular Dystrophy, Sleep Disorders, Neurotology, Neurobiology and the Brain Research Institute.

My experience as Executive Assistant to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Development for the Health Sciences provided an invaluable training ground and a unique perspective on development. I was involved with donors at extremely high levels of giving. The experience also gave me a broad overview of the development process at the top levels. In my role, I was responsible for all administrative details ranging from complex travel itineraries all over the world, to coordinating special events for multi-million dollar donors.

I was responsible for creating online medical school courses that prepared students for the USMLE Board Examinations. I worked closely with faculty, subject matter experts, graphic artists, instructional designers and talent to take courses from the classroom, make them interactive, and optimize them for online access.
