Responsible of leading a team that guarantees Mondelez's Quality Policies' compliance and the FSSC22000 certification in 3 Internal Manufacturing Sites, 6 External Man. Sites, supporting the development of new businesses (new sites/line extension of current approved sites); also I’m part of the Global Quality Team community of practice, where we discuss the implementation of new requirements/ways of working to improve the consumer's snacking experience and the food safety of our products with a continuous improvement mindset. As part of the BU Supply Chain leadership team, I provide my input/expertise in quality, integrated work systems, lean manufacturing, six sigma, cleaning and sanitation, food safety, etc....As the BU Coordinator of the Crisis Management System, I’m responsible for working with the Business Unit President, the BU Leadership Team, Corporate Governmental Affairs, Labor, Corporate Communication and other functions to report to the global platform any issue that can harm the company's employees, reputation, assets, brands, etc...and to maintain a healthy governance of these issues to systemically implement solutions and improvements to the affected processes. High interaction in both roles with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Business Development, Planning, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing teams.

In charge of the Quality Assurance and Quality control for 4 operations at Pilar plant faciltiy: Pet Care, Fabric Care, Home Care and the Distribution Center -QA and regulatory responsabilities for all P&G imported products-.

As part of my responsabilities, I was the Regional Microbiologist for the LA Region. The role included the multifunctional work with R&D, Global/Local engineering, innitiative/plannig teams, and developing/supporting the local labs from the people training to the equipment and systems validation and methods verification. Since that, I have been responsible for training all levels of the organizations, from the new employees to the regional leadership team which included the regional directory. I have been also part of the Global P&G Microbiology team, which works jointly with the global enginnering, R&D community from within and outside the company. I also was in charge of the Quality Incident System which is focused on understanding the quality failures root causes and creating/supporting systemic action plans across the region. I also managed the Quality Related Losses program to help the company to reach the financial goals; finally I led the Comsumer Comments System to have a closer look to the consumer feelings about the products and improve the quality across the entire supply chain.

Initially for Health Care, I was in charge of implementing, along with the Regulatory team, the regulated products importation from different countries. I had to plan the construction of the new analytical/microbiology lab and train the analysts. After that, I joined the Fabric and Home Care bussines unit in which I was in charge of the local plant Quality Incident System, the Consumer Comment System, the Defect report and monitoring systems and the Trade Survey program. Then I went to the Pet Care bussines unit where I was responsible for the Packing unit quality results and the Customer and Consumer Understanding program. (*Expat assignment for two years).

I was responsible to lead the local plant microbiology laboratory, which supported the analysis and release of the daily production. To get this I was responsible for the lab analysts training and qualification, the equipment and IT records, calibration and validation, the reagents and lab reagents supply.

Worked as a microbiology trainee in the microbiology/physico-chemical labs during the last year of undergraduate studies.
