Working as process engineering with project for greenfield plants to produce Ethanol from Corn according to ICM technology. Co-workers and leader are located in the United States. - Conduct research to develop new and improved ethanol manufacturing processes, including P&ID and equipment specification development.- Develop material and energy balances for new and developing processes.- Design, plan, layout, and assist customer engaged in constructing, controlling, and improving equipment to carry out ethanol processes on industrial scale. - Analyze operating procedures and equipment and machinery function to reduce processing time and cost. - Design processes to control movement and storage of solids, liquids, and gases.- Design and plan measurement and control systems for ethanol plants based on data collected in laboratory experiments, pilot plant operations, and industrial scale operations.- Determine most effective arrangement of unit operations exercising judgment to compromise between process requirements, economic evaluation, operator effectiveness, and physical and health hazards.- Support ICM startup team and/or customer operators and control such equipment as condensers, evaporators, pumps, columns, heat exchangers, valves, tanks, boilers, compressors, pipelines, and centrifuges to affect required chemical or physical change.- Apply principles of chemical engineering to solve process problems in projects and existing plants.- Participate in sales process by providing technical expertise and guidance as required to aide in scope development.

Process Engineering of R&D. Hands-on experience with development of new products and new process.Eleven years of hands-on experience with process simulation software (Aspen) and modeling to design, operate and optimize distillation and other unit operations. Development of new process through industrials tests.Ability to do Project Management using MS Project and controling budget costs for the projects.High energy, excellent internal and external communication skills.Eleven years of experience doing scale-up of new products, from lab scale to plant scale.Ability to work together with industrial team to identify and implement new ways to increase product yields, reduce energy usage, and increase the value of by-products reducing variable production costs.Technical and economical analysis of new process, including CAPEX estimative for new plants and production cost estimative for new products.

Worked in the basic stage, the front-end engineering design (FEED) and in detail engineering of projects of chemical, petrochemicals and oil and gas refinery. Mean responsibilities:- Responsible for the execution of consistency analysis, material and heat balances, process flow and piping & instrumentation diagrams, data sheets, etc. Also elaborated calculation notes for pumps and pipes;- Design of gas piping to flare system, pressure safety valves and fire systems;- Worked in the following projects of Braskem, Petrobras and Dow Chemical: MVC – Cloreto de Vinila of Braskem: fase Feed, 1ª parte da Carteira de Gasolina da Refinaria de Paulínia – REPLAN: Consistency analysis of basic project, Carteira de Gasolina da RPBC: Unidade de Recuperação de Enxofre 3 (URE 3) e Unidade de Tratamento de Gás Residual (UTGR), Unidade do Propeno da Repar: Consistency analysis of basic project, Terminal do Pecem-Tecém (Transpetro): worked in FEED and detailing, Dow – Cubatão: design of fire system and of a cooling system to a storage of peroxide.- Worked in projects for the following companies: Umicore and Momentive.
