35+ years of experience in the Argentine and Latam banking industry.During my banking career, I have arranged and closed more than 200 transactions and generated a considerable amount of annual revenues for the banks I have worked for.Some of the most relevant ones for private companies as well as the public sector included:- The first syndicated loan done for an Argentine company, Telefonica de Argentina in 1996.- The first Argentine Eximbank securitization facility done for an Argentine company, Telefonica de Argentina, in 1994.- The largest financing done for the Province of Buenos Aires in international bonds for more than USD 1bn in 2011. - Loma Negra’s IPO for USD 1.1bn in 2017.- One of the only Argentine public tender offers done by Arcelor Mittal for Acindar’s public shares in February 2008. - The first project financing done out of Argentina for a mining company called Cerro Vanguardia in 1997, amounting to USD 135mm.- One the largest refinancings done after the 2001 Argentine crisis for Perez Companc amounting to USD 2bn both in loans and bonds.- One of the only credit linked notes done in Argentina for Cablevision amounting to USD 400mm in 2011. - A local IPO done for Consultatio which shares were sold to the local pension funds back in 2008.If you are a startup, family owned business, or private equity company and you need help in knowing about any potential financing in private and-or public markets both in Argentina and abroad do not hesitate to contact me at f.balmaceda@fibertel.com.ar.
