About Fernando Campos

Fernando Campos has more than 10 years of experience as specialist in biodiversity conservation and strategic management of natural capital. He is currently the Conservation and Climate Finance Manager at SITAWI, where he leads initiatives related to the development of financial and economic solutions to leverage or unlock capital for sustainable biodiversity management and addressing climate challenges. Prior to SITAWI, he worked at Fundação Grupo Boticário, developing actions in the field of biodiversity economics and impact investing sector. He also worked at TECPAR as supervisor of forest and biodiversity certification. Fernando is a forestry engineer, graduated from the Federal University of Paraná, and holds a master's degree in Agriculture and Forestry from the University of Eastern Finland, Joensuu, Finland; and Master's degree in Ecology and Forest Management, from the Albert-Ludwigs Universität, Freiburg, Germany.
