A strategic thinker, with good data analytical and interpersonal skills, I have led multi-functional project teams and have 15 years of experience in the agricultural sector, I have developed and managed supply chains primarily across Africa and Latin America. My role has involved facilitating exports to the US and European markets, providing a comprehensive understanding of global agricultural trade dynamics and sustainability requirements.A strong believer in a fair deal for agribusinesses and food producers in developing countries, with experience in regenerative agriculture and circular economy projects, promoting sustainable practices. I am an expert in collaborating with multiple stakeholders in the food supply chain, including farmers, producers, buyers co-operatives, NGOs and government agencies.My ability to bring different parties together and negotiate agreements which are fair and profitable for all, has been key to my success. Being bi-lingual in English and Spanish, and having lived in several countries, means I adapt quickly to different cultures and markets. In 2014 I helped to launch and subsequently grew, a private sector startup, InspiraFarms, which develops and deploys innovative cooling and freezing solution to farms, distributors and exporters, significantly reducing food wastage and enabling their businesses to be profitable. It now operates in 15 countries and has achieved B Corp certification. Previously, as Project co-ordinator at the Sustainable Food Laboratory, I used my strong problem solving and data analytical skills, to oversee projects for the Guatemalan Highland Value Chain Development Alliance. This included sourcing over 3000 smallholders producing food for the US, which resulted in me winning Supplier of the Year on behalf of the smallholders for one of the largest retail companies in the US.
