As the coordinator of Cell Culture I and II for the Biotechnology course at the Polytechnic School of Health Joaquim Venâncio, I am responsible for proposing, discussing, and reviewing the syllabus for these subjects. I am part of the team of teachers who started the Biotechnology course at the school. I also teach theoretical and practical classes, bridging the gap between academic and professional life by bringing in professionals to interact with students, exchange experiences, and carry out practical activities. Recently, I organized a meeting between former and current students of the technical course in Biotechnology to promote greater interaction and understanding of the job market. I also use various methods to generate interest in biotechnology among students, including scientific events, recorded lectures, and films.

I worked as a Researcher at the Laboratory of Monoclonal Antibody Technology working with the development and production of new biopharmaceuticals on a laboratory scale. a. I worked as deputy manager from 2012 to 2017, directly assisting in the implementation and start-up of the new laboratory area of an R&D laboratory. Performed direct interface with research institutes and multinationals in the field of biopharmaceuticals both for technology transfer projects and for co-development of new vaccines and/or supply of monoclonal antibodies. In the management area, it interfaced with the biosafety and quality assurance core, which allowed the implementation of GLP (good laboratory practices) and Biosafety (NB-2) practices in a clean area of a technological development laboratory. b. As a researcher, I established new protocols both for animal experimentation and for molecular techniques and mammalian cell culture. Implemented a platform of human antibody fragments, using molecular biology techniques (phage display). I acted as a proponent and interface with the Ethics Committee on Animal Use and also as a proponent in clinical studies. c. I am one of the inventors of a monoclonal antibody patent with therapeutic and diagnostic activity against fungal infections. d. I have expertise in molecular modeling and prediction of immunogenic epitopes to identify targets for serological diagnostics. e. In the area of technological innovation, I am one of the founding partners of a startup providing immunoinformatics services, whose prominence was recognized with 3rd place in the scientific entrepreneurship program (Inova Fiocruz). f. In the area of scientific dissemination, I mentored undergraduate and high school students, I participated in technical-scientific events, published articles in relevant international scientific journals and presented the results of its research, interacting directly with researchers and other collaborators.
