Also, third-party payment frameworks like Authorize.NET and PayPal were integrated to enable users to make purchases within the e-commerce.Additionally, Web APIs were developed as part of the overall solution. These changes included the redesign of database tables to establish inheritance relationships among them, the restructuring of the domain layer to better align with the new architecture, the revamping of the data layer and persistence logic to accommodate inherited objects, the implementation of the repository pattern, and the introduction of object graphs. Additionally, communication between the business layer and the data layer was reworked, the concept of components was incorporated into the system, and the MVVM concept was introduced into the presentation layer to enhance user interface interactions. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺As the Lead Developer and a team member, I was responsible for re-engineering an old SSIS application developed to process a large amount of data from several file-based data sources.This legacy application could no longer handle the data provided by customers due to major architectural flaws and the use of outdated technologies.The adopted strategy was to create a new cloud-native application to replace the obsolete one and provide almost real-time integration, monitoring, and high-performance levels.The new robust engine (developed in C#) was designed using parallel, distributed, and cloud computing to improve performance and make the application fully scalable. Several tools provided by AWS, such as SQS, S3, and SES, were incorporated into the architecture, and EC2 was used to host the application.Additionally, the application was integrated with web services responsible for processing and persisting the data.
