- This role is the key local IT contact point between the business and IT for business system related issues, projects, system processes and application change requests- Manage all SAP requests logged by the business to determine validity, priority and cost- In conjunction with the business identify areas for process improvement that enable service delivery to the business and customers- Provide guidance to the business on best practice approach on the use of business systems to support business processes- Configure system parameters, identify and perform the necessary enhancements to be able to deliver the business requirements in the most efficient way- Have deep technical understanding of the relevant business systems and enhancement components (e.g. SAP BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, etc.) as well as the underlying structures and tables that support the business processes - Have clear end to end understanding of the solutions and know the touch points with other modules, system components and other integrated systems- Deliver all agreed new business requests including Service Requests and problems logged with the Helpdesk- Perform root cause analysis, provide alternatives and implement the resolution for all allocated incidents in line with the Support Release Calendar- Liaise with the business to define and prioritise requests and provide a proposed schedule in accordance- with the Functional Release Calendar- Review business processes and recommend BPR where required- Conduct FITGAP analysis of SAP Systems and processes and propose alternatives to address those- Lead and facilitate business analysis and requirements gathering workshops- Follow the established Change Request procedure and present all relevant RFC’s in the fortnightly Change Approval Board Sessions- Coordinate testing with the super user group making sure the established testing methodology is followed and adhered to as a sign-off for production release
