With over a decade of experience in agronomy research, seed production, and field trial management, I bring a deep understanding of agronomic practices across diverse environments. My journey began in Catanduva, São Paulo, where my passion for agriculture led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Agronomy from UNESP in 2014. Early roles at Monsanto Brazil in seed supply chain planning and field phenotyping set the foundation for my expertise in data-driven research and operations.Since 2018, my path has taken me to Iowa State University, where I earned an MS in Plant Pathology, focusing on testing nanoencapsulated fungicides for managing seedborne Fusarium graminearum on corn and soybeans. Currently, I'm working toward a Ph.D. in Crop Production and Physiology, with research centered on using UAVs and satellite imagery to optimize corn residue management and predict soybean yields through canopy plasticity at R3. As a full-time Research Scientist in ISU’s Agronomy Department, I lead projects in Dr. Licht’s lab and co-develop a high-throughput phenotyping pipeline that automates drone imagery collection and analysis in corn and soybean research. Our work has produced over 8TB of drone imagery, which I leverage to improve research protocols through remote sensing.Proficient in experimental design and statistical analysis, I use tools like R, SAS, Spotfire, and PowerBI to interpret complex datasets and create accessible dashboards. I aim to continue applying my expertise in remote sensing, geospatial data, and project management to advance efficiency and standardization in data collection across multiple research settings.I am passionate about contributing to agricultural advancements through innovative research, and my career aspirations include leading research teams in seed production or commercial agriculture, where I can make a meaningful impact by bridging scientific research with practical applications in the field.
