• Promoted, planned and project-managed everything related to the following sustainability & infrastructure projects on 18 campuses:
• Energy Efficiency: through several projects, achieved a 670 ton CO2-e reduction in 5 years (with a 1.5 year payback).
• Sustainable Design: coordinated 45,000 m2 of buildings, to meet national sustainability standards.
• Renewable Energy: 2 PV systems installed, using Power-Purchase-Agreement. Today I’m promoting a 20-year contract to purchase 9 GWh off-site renewable energy annually, 16% cheaper than the grid.
• Waste Management: implemented an “Integral Waste Management” system on 9 campuses, diverting 37 ton of waste from landfill – representing 9% of total waste by weight so there’s still plenty of room to improve.
• Indoor Environmental Quality: project managed a major refurbish of 339 classrooms at 14 campuses, with a total investment of AUD $8.5 million in 3 years, including high-efficiency HVAC, evaporative cooling and heat.
