Fernando has a solid career developed at the “Big Four,” in the area of Auditing for domestic and multinational companies, specialized in the following industries: technology, consumer products, food retail, and real estate development. Partner in charge of financial statements audits for multinational companies including US companies under the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX 404), conducting an integrated audit which combines financial statement audit and attestation of the effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting and management’s assessment of the effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting. Subject matter expert in responding to technical consultations, developing and updating specific technical guides and forms related to accounting and auditing issues in both IFRS/ISA and USGAAP/USGAAS; Participated in various IPOs (Initial Public Offering) participating of financial statements audits and provided guidance for various Companies in all stages of the process. As International Industry Group Leader responsible for managing a group of over 200 professionals serving multinational companies including the group of Japanese, French and German companies.Co-author of the International Accounting Standards Manual in Brazil published in 2008 in Brazil by EY and the University of São Paulo (FIPECAFI).Member of IBRACON – Institute of Brazilian Independent Auditors and Member of the Review Committee for the publication of IBRACON's Manual of International Accounting Standards (IFRS) since 2008.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration by Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and Accounting by Universidade Paulista (UNIP)
