• Solar Construction responsible for the management of Solar Renewable Energy generation projects in excess of $300M in various stages of development from construction budget development and preliminary engineering through and including engineering design, construction and all activities leading to commercial operation.• Manage complex solar renewable contracts and coordinate with internal and external teams (ie. Safety, Environmental, Legal, Engineering).• Lead Acciona project team on site consisting of Construction Manager and Construction Engineers• Serve as the owner’s Engineer with customers and contractors. Responsible for monitoring of construction quality to ensure that all work is installed in accordance with the plans, specifications, QA/QC requirements, code requirements, contract requirements and good construction practices• Responsible for the Safety and Environmental compliance of the Acciona’s personnel and subcontractors during construction in accordance with federal, state and local laws, and Acciona policies, practices and procedures. Ensure all personnel and subcontractors meet technical and safety training requirements• Develop and present the projects construction budget. Identify cost reduction opportunities and track cost performance against budget• Support in the recruitment, hiring and training of Construction personnel

• Manage design and construction for Earthrise Nutritional’s production ponds and warehouse expansion• Preparing proposals for Imperial County RFI’s, Public and Private sector• Evaluating Engineering firms and contractors for Solar Projects in Imperial Valley and Mexico

• Overall responsibility for all stages of construction projects in tens to hundreds of millions of dollars;• Develop and review project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards and quotes from suppliers;• Supervise project implementation to assure cost, time, quality and execution guidelines according to schedule;• Competent / experienced in contract negotiations;• Develop work breakdown structures as well as negotiating them with suppliers;• Manage all parties involved (internal and external) and ensure professional project management from system design to construction phase;• Represent project towards external parties such as investors, public authorities, grid operator and others;• Responsibility for project controlling;• Coordinate and manage one or more internal project teams;• Working together in an international team of specialists and actively participate in developing project standards;• Collaborate with team members when necessary to ensure effective communication;• Provide cost estimation, including but not limited to:o Site Due Diligence–Evaluate potential project sites as part of development due diligenceo Identify and project costs related to time, materials, and laboro Track actual costs and assess cost effectiveness of products, projecto Cost reporting–Prepare reports regarding the current status of a project to show estimated costs, revenues, and project timeline; and• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by the Director of Construction.
