My responsibilities include:• Selling translation rights and negotiating foreign deals;• Licensing film/TV rights to producers for screen adaptations;• Negotiating contracts and tracking/ chasing money due;• Negotiating subsidiary licensing of literary works;• Supervising the negotiation of all new acquisitions;• Organizing the annual international book fairs (Bologna, London, Frankfurt) and creating spring and fall catalogues each year;• Acting as a liaison between literary scouts, agents, foreign publishers, TV/ film producers, and authors;• Fostering relationships with new national and international business partners.
