- Responsible for all issues related to competition and antitrust matters of the group at national and zone level.- Responsible for the successful governance of processes that enable Grupo Modelo compliance with local and global privacy regulations, including Privacy Impact Assessments, Data Subject Rights, Data Lifecycle Management, DPA.

Antitrust- Handling of all procedures, such as verifications of non-notified merger filings, monopolistic practices (cartels and abuse of dominance) as well as, special procedures whose objective is to determine the existence of barriers to competition or essential facilities, assess and supervise the processing and preparation of the draft resolutions of these procedures, contributing to the establishment of measures that promote the efficiency of the markets.- Responsible for processing and elaborating draft resolutions and decisions in procedures that determine the conditions of effective competition in a market to guarantee competition and free market participation in Mexico, facilitating that the markets function efficiently.- Prepare, assess and analyze all the documentation for the trial-like procedure (admission, evaluation, and presentation of evidence to determine the probable commission of anti-competitive practices (cartels and abuse of dominance) or the existence of barriers to competition or essential facilities).

Antitrust, Real Estate and M&A- Represented and advised different clients and industries in proceedings before the Mexican Competition Authorities, including analyzing and integrating pre-merger filings, investigations of anti-competitive practices, non-competition agreements and leniency programme applications, getting clearance in all of the pre-merger fillings by the Mexican Competition Authorities. - Review of documents/agreements and elaborate due diligence reports in M&A transactions.- Represent and advise different clients in the industry of retail for the acquisition, leasing, development, construction and sale of real estate properties for the expansion of operations of the clients in Mexico.- Corporate advisory and negotiation with external counterparts where M&A, compliance, restructurings and review and draft different types of agreements, such as NDAs, Non-compete, leasing agreements, SPA.- Counselled clients and executives on how to implement risk-mitigation compliance protocols and policies into the business. - Provided training to clients and elaborated info memos on competition and compliance matters in English and Spanish. - Trace developments on legislative and regulatory proposals regarding different fields for compliance purposes in the areas required for the team and create a report for clients and the team of relevant risk matters that can impact the business of the clients to adapt or create regulatory strategies.
