I'm a Data Engineer interested in learning as much as possible about architectures, tools and frameworks used to create fast, scalable and reliable pipelines.Of course, it doesn't matter that you have the fastest architecture if it doesn't solve an actual business problem, that's why I also enjoy communicating with business areas, getting to know their problems and finding ways to solve them.On previous jobs, I've developed web crawlers in Python using Scrapy. There, I've learned how to write clean, well documented code, and that's a skill I've carried on as a Data Engineer.At Sinch I'm using Airflow to orchestrate data pipelines. I believe Airlfow balances the flexibility of writing Python code with an easy to use and well documented API, and enjoy using it very much.We move data in and out of BigQuery, which I find very powerful, specially when you combine with everything GCP has to offer.I also know a little about Spark and Kafka and believe it's important to use open source tools, so you don't become vendor tied.
