Provided legal advice for the restructuring and implementation of infrastructure and investment projects in the hydrocarbons area both in upstream and downstream projects, including, among others, the negotiation of association agreements, IPC contracts, joint operating agreements, profit sharing contracts and well operating services agreements, and various oil service contracts. Additionally, practiced various due diligence for the acquisition of oil fields in various Latin American countries, including Ecuador, Colombia and Peru. Reviewing and studying the legal, regulatory and contractual elements in order to diagnose the legal situation, and the possible environmental, labor, regulatory and contractual responsibilities that imply the acquisition and/or operation of the fields to be acquired.

Member of the Energy and Corporate Group of the Firm in Caracas. He has provided advice to transnational companies in the oil and gas area in Venezuela and abroad, participating in the process of sale of a stake owned by an international company in an offshore oil field in Brazil, advising such company in all phases of the process. It included the drafting of the contract for the sale of assets, review of guarantees, review of government approvals, among others.He was assigned as legal advisor to Repsol Venezuela for a period of seven months with exclusive dedication:Advice in the bidding process for the Gulf of Venezuela Gas Licenses (Rafael Urdaneta Project.)Advice on corporate matters and on asset acquisitions in the Repsol Business Unit in Trinidad & Tobago.

Worked in the Vice Presidency of Legal Affairs of La Electricidad de Caracas, specifically, providing legal advice to the Vice Presidencies of Finance, Generation and Transmission, and the New Business Unit in different legal matters. Participation in different financing projects: issuance of R 144-A bonds, syndicated loans, and development of a project financing for a thermal generation power plant in Venezuela.

Worked in the legal team of the Third-Party Business Unit of the Exploration and Production Division of PDVSA. Specifically in the Orinoco Belt Strategic Association projects among PDVSA and international oil and gas companies such as ExxonMobil, Chevron, Conoco being responsible for the legal activities related to the Hamaca and Cerro Negro Projects.

Part of the Project Development team participating in different oil and gas projects in Latin America, including participation in a bidding process for the construction, operation and maintenance of a gas pipeline project in Venezuela, as well as participating in an association project for the development and construction of a liquified gas plant in Venezuela.
