Performed a complete renovation of the 200 room hotel and Brand it "The Ridges Resort and Marina". The hotel included a 350 covered boat slip Marina, one of three fueling stations on the lake, mechanical repair shop, and ship store. The Resort offered Fine Dining Restaurants and Casual food at "The Yacht Club and Tikki Bar" all with full liquor licenses. Hotel and Marina still in operationLocated on the North Carolina side of Lake Chatuge, acquired Mountain Harbour, a six hundred acre Mountain Golf Course community. Redesigned and updated the Willard Byrd 18 hole golf course and built a 5 million dollar clubhouse with all amenities. Developed a Club membership program. Continued the development of the community infrastructure with new roads, water lines, retaining tank,s pump stations and sewer lines making all lots buildable. Developed and built a 30 unit Townhouse Section. Expanded and connected the sewer lines to the treatment plant in the Town of Haysville, installed fire hydrants throughout the community and along highway 64 to the town of Haysville. Developed an in-house Sales Team and program. During season employed over 140 local residents from the surrounding N. Georgia and N. Carolina counties.Worked closely with the Georgia and North Carolina local and county governments, the TVA, DOT, Army Corps of Engineers, Cherokee Artifacts Council, NC & GA Department of Wildlife Protection and State and Federal Environmental Protection Agencies.
